Fresh Food & Horticulture Sector Group: Convened fresh food and horticulture sector growers and producers, alongside leading local experts, initially to respond to immediate Covid issues, and now to work collaboratively to deliver local skills and employment opportunities.

Westminster/Whitehall engagement programme: Developed and delivered the Thames Estuary Growth Board’s Westminster/Whitehall engagement programme, working alongside Government  officials and delivery agencies to secure new investment and support for local growth.

Communications strategy: Commissioned and directed communications delivery for the Thames Estuary Growth Board, working with a leading London agency.

Public policy reports: Published studies on local growth, entrepreneurship and inward investment/international partnerships for the Localis think tank.

Ministerial Task Force: Co-oordinated the Sandwich Economic Development Taskforce established to secure the long-term future of the Discovery Park site when pharmaceutical giant Pfizer announced its decision to withdraw from East Kent – the site now employs more people than when Pfizer’s plans were originally announced.
